ABOUT US

The business was started in 2003 as a result of disappointing results from using other products on the market at the time. Our consulting business was looking at the biological system of farming and we investigated the use of compost teas and some other commercial microbial products. The products weren’t giving us the results that we expected. Hence is why we started the journey of producing a robust set of microbial products that will perform in all crops and conditions.  The philosophy of the company was and still is “if we can’t get visual results from the products then we wouldn’t market them.

The first item produced was Activfert Soil-Life which is used to increase the functionality of the soil. Initially two other items were produced, Micro-Gro, a foliar feed and plant growth stimulant and ActivBOOST, a fruit set and grain enhancing foliar.

After experiments and perfecting the fermenting of these products it was decided to expand into a commercial  fermenting business. The Principal , Ian Lawry established a technique to manufacture these products and has introduced a brand  fertiliser range known as Activfert.
